The present invention relates to a driving support system for a tower crane using an unmanned aerial vehicle capable of providing an image of a construction site captured by an unmanned aerial vehicle in real time for a driver; and a method of providing an image of the tower crane using the same. According to the present invention, the driving support system for the tower crane using the unmanned aerial vehicle includes an unmanned aerial vehicle unit and a server module. The unmanned aerial vehicle unit comprises: an unmanned aerial vehicle driving unit to provide a flight driving force to a body of the unmanned aerial vehicle; an unmanned aerial vehicle detecting unit including an unmanned aerial vehicle image detecting unit to obtain image information and an unmanned aerial vehicle GPS to detect position information of the body of the unmanned aerial vehicle; an unmanned aerial vehicle communication unit to transmit an unmanned aerial vehicle detection signal; and an unmanned aerial vehicle control unit to transmit image information of the detected building to the unmanned aerial vehicle communication unit, applying an unmanned aerial vehicle driving control signal to the unmanned aerial vehicle driving unit. The server module comprises: a server communication unit to communicate with the unmanned aerial vehicle communication unit; a server storage unit to store preset building information; a server control unit to compare the image information of the building detected by the unmanned aerial vehicle detecting unit with preset building information; and a server output unit to output comparison building information compared in the server control unit.
