The present invention relates to a composition for regulating cell division by promoting or inhibiting activities of FCHo1, and a method using the same. A FCHo1 activity regulator promotes or inhibits activities of FCHo1 functioning as a main factor in cell division as a target, thereby promoting or inhibiting cell division and being effectively used for treating diseases associated with cell division.
