A power converter based on a quasi Z-source inverter according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first inductor which is connected in series to one side of an input power source; an i-diode whose one side is connected through a first node connected to the other side of the first inductor; a switching element whose one side is connected to the other side of the input power source and the other side is connected to the i-diode through the second node; a capacitor whose one side is connected to the second node; and an impedance network which includes a b-diode connected between the other side of the input power source and the other side of the capacitor. Accordingly, the present invention can obtain a desired system AC voltage even though a DC input voltage is low by including a high DC voltage amplification ratio.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
