The gas leakage detection system using a hydrocarbon detection terminal and a smartphone comprises: the hydrocarbon detection terminal which detects hydrocarbon at a site as a target for detection of gas leakage, converts a hydrocarbon signal into a wireless local area network communications signal, when hydrocarbon is detected, and transmits the wireless local area network communications signal; the smartphone which accesses the hydrocarbon detection terminal by wireless local area network communications, receives the hydrocarbon detection signal, analyzes the received hydrocarbon detection signal, generates the hydrocarbon detection information by combining the hydrocarbon analysis information with location information, and transmits the hydrocarbon detection information to the cloud server located in a remote place; and the cloud server which accesses the smartphone through the network of the mobile communications company, displays the hydrocarbon detection information transmitted from the smartphone on a screen based on GIS, and provides real-time hydrocarbon monitoring information.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
