The present invention relates to a rubber composition of a sidewall insert for a run-flat tire which includes 100 parts by weight of raw rubber, 10 to 30 parts by weight of carboxylic acid metal salt, 0.5 to 1.0 part by weight of peroxide, and 40 to 70 parts by weight of carbon black; and the tire using the same.
