The present invention relates to a primer set for detecting or diagnosing Mycosphaerella nawae of a persimmon tree and use thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to: a primer set capable of specifically detecting or diagnosing Mycosphaerella nawae of a persimmon tree; a composition for diagnosing Mycosphaerella nawae of a persimmon tree comprising the same; a diagnostic kit; and a method for detecting Mycosphaerella nawae of a persimmon tree. According to the present invention, the primer set for PCR reaction can specifically amplify a gene domain of Mycosphaerella nawae. Therefore, when the primer set is used, Mycosphaerella nawae can be species-specifically detected from a sample in an effective manner within a short time. Accordingly, since Mycosphaerella nawae, which may significantly damage farmers who cultivate persimmon trees, can be detected in an early phase, a diagnostic system, which is more rapid and effective, can be implemented.
