The present invention relates to a process for preparing [ ¹⁸ F] -containing radioactive compounds, which comprises i) triflating a [ ¹⁸ F] fluoroalkyl compound with an AgOTf and ii) NH, OH, or SH with a radioactive compound precursor comprising a [ ¹⁸ F] -containing radioactive compound.
