The present disclosure relates to a financial institution server and a method for dividing floating rate savings into a deferred deposit. The method for dividing floating rate savings into a deferred deposit according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: checking whether a current interest rate is equal to or higher than a preset conversion reference interest rate if the preset interest rate change period of the floating rate savings reaches; and automatically switching a part of the accumulated savings to the deferred deposit according to whether the current interest rate is equal to or higher than the conversion reference interest rate.
