METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING EXPANSION JOINT PACKING SEAL FOR VESSEL USING CHOPPED SUPER FIBERS FOR IMPROVING DURABILITY

According to a method for manufacturing an expansion joint packing seal (EXP) for vessels using chopped super fibers for improving durability, the chopped super fibers are evenly dispersed in rubber, compared to existing methods, can manufacture the EXP for vessels which has remarkably improved durability (or abrasion resistance) and strength and having high economic feasibility. The method for manufacturing the EXP which improved durability by using the chopped super fibers can solve the difficulty in chopping the super fibers, minimize the fibril phenomenon, and provide an effect of enhancing adhesive force between the super fibers and the rubber.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
