The present invention relates to a Ti_3SiC_2 coating composition and a coating method using the Ti_3SiC_2 coating composition. One aspect of the present invention provides a Ti_3SiC_2 coating suspension composition. Another aspect of the present invention provides a method of coating a SiC fiber through electrophoresis using the Ti_3SiC_2 coating suspension composition of the present invention. More specifically, the present invention provides: a Ti_3SiC_2 coating composition comprising a Ti_3SiC_2 powder, a dispersant, and a balance of a solvent including ethanol and water; and a method of coating Ti_3SiC_2 on a SiC fiber comprising a step of providing the SiC fiber connected to a cathode, a step of providing an anode which is spaced apart from the SiC fiber, and a step of performing electrophoresis using the Ti_3SiC_2 coating composition of the present invention.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
