The present invention relates to a method for improving long-term deterioration and strength stability of a Ni-YSZ anode support by adding Al 2 O 3 , and more specifically, 3YSZ cermet, which results in a significant decrease in the strength of the Ni-3YSZ cermet and a decrease in the bending strength of the anode support. Addition of 1 to 5 wt% of Al 2 O 3 results in the Ni-3YSZ fuel electrode support 3YSZZ cermet improved in long-term deterioration and strength stability to stably replace Ni-8YSZ as an anode support of an SOFC by preventing formation of a new phase of Ni-3YSZ and improving mechanical strength and structural stability.
