The present invention relates to a biaxially oriented UV stabilized single-layered or multi-layered polyester film having a combination of silicon dioxide particle and UV stabilizer as light scattering particle, a method for manufacturing the same, and use thereof in greenhouse blind. More specifically, the present invention relates to the single-layered or multi-layered polyester film having transparency of 70 to 92%. The film comprises at least 1.0 wt% of SiO_2 and at most 2.5 wt% of SiO_2. The d_50 value of the SiO_2 particles is 3 to 9 m. The SV value of the film is 700 or more. The scattering factor SF of the film is not less than 2 but not more than 8. The haze of the film is 60 to 95%, the sharpness of the film is 15 to 40%. All outer layers contain 0.3 wt% (based on the weight of the layer) or more of an organic UV stabilizer.
