SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING HOLLOW-TYPE PREFORM INCLUDING VEHICLE WHEEL RIM, METHOD FOR PRODUCING HOLLOW-TYPE PREFORM INCLUDING VEHICLE WHEEL RIM, AND VEHICLE WHEEL RIM PREFORM PRODUCED BY METHOD
The present invention relates to a system for producing a hollow-type preform including a vehicle wheel rim, a method for producing a hollow-type preform including a vehicle wheel rim, and a vehicle wheel rim preform produced through the method. The system comprises: a braiding device for weaving a braid by a mutual cross of fibers wound on a bobbin in accordance with a movement of a carrier including a bobbin; a winding device for supplying a fiber wound on a bobbin while rotating at least one bobbin circularly; and a mandrill device including a mold, a fixture for fixing the mold, and a moving means for linearly moving the fixture. The method comprises: a mold preparing step (S1) of disposing a mold between the braiding device and the winding device; a braiding step (S2) of weaving a braid on the outer surface of the mold by the braiding device while moving the mold toward the winding device; a winding step (S3) of winding a fiber on the outer surface of the mold by the winding device while moving the mold toward the braiding device; a trimming step (S4) of cutting the fiber of the braiding device and the fiber of the winding device by repeating braid weaving and fiber winding at the outer form of a preform designed by a repetition of the braiding step (S2) and the winding step (S3); and a collecting step (S5) of collecting a mold on which a preform is formed. In a produced preform, woven braids and wound fibers are multiaxially formed in multiple folds. Thus, excellent strength is ensured. The preform is applied to a vehicle wheel rim preform, and wound fibers make a braid closely placed on a mold. Thus, a wheel rim preform having overall uniform quality is produced, and a wheel rim having excellent strength and stiffness can be produced.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
