The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a float for nonferrous metal casting and a float for nonferrous metal casting manufactured thereby. The float for nonferrous metal casting, which comprises one body and is made of a ceramic material, is manufactured by: overflowing nonferrous molten metal in a nonferrous heating furnace by ascending or descending to be soaked in or taken out the nonferrous molten metal in the nonferrous heating furnace; molding a float for nonferrous metal casting injected into a casting mold into a ceramic material in a paste form in vacuum; and drying, sintering and processing the same.
