The present invention relates to a smart bicycle helper module based on Arduino and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, the module comprises: a sensor module including humidity, light, heart rate, ultrasonic, and temperature sensors to be detachably attached to an Arduino board; and a main board corresponding to the Arduino board receiving humidity, light, heart rate, ultrasonic, and temperature measurement data from the sensor module to transmit the data to a mobile smart device in a Bluetooth packet type through a Bluetooth module so as to output a measurement value (humidity, light, heart rate, and temperature) corresponding to a measurement item through a touch screen in accordance with control of a smart bicycle helper application in the mobile smart device, and outputting rear view measurement data measured by the ultrasonic sensor in a sound together with a warning message to enable a user to understand rear side information.
