The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing rice flour for gluten-free rice bread, which can realize excellent processability (swelling and the like) and functionality with only rice flour without adding gluten, and to the rice flour manufactured thereby. The method for manufacturing rice flour for gluten-free rice bread according to the present invention comprises the following steps: preparing nonglutinous rice; drying the nonglutinous rice to reduce the water content to the range of 5 to 10%; dry-pulverizing the dried nonglutinous rice with an air flow type mill to pulverize the nonglutinous rice to have the grain size of 50 to 300 mesh; and obtaining rice flour having the grain size of 0.05 to 0.35 mm.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
