The present invention relates to a composite separation membrane porous polymer support having an improved graphene oxide adsorption capacity, and to a method for producing the same. According to the composite separation membrane support and the method of the present invention, physical properties and chemical properties of various supports are modified, and graphene oxide can be ideally coated. Accordingly, various supports can be coated with graphene oxide, and excellent penetration and selectivity of the graphene oxide can be sufficiently expressed. In particular, when penetration and selectivity of the supports are also excellent, a coating effect of the graphene oxide can be further maximized. Thus, when graphene oxide is coated by utilizing a support to be utilized as a composite separation membrane (a gas separation membrane or a water treatment separation membrane), a composite separation membrane of which a graphene oxide coating layer is not easily peeled, which has a uniform surface, and which has excellent penetration and selectivity can be provided.
