The present invention relates to an orally administered pharmaceutical composition comprising a rebamipide precursor for preventing or treating immune diseases and metabolic diseases. Specifically, the present invention relates to an orally administered pharmaceutical composition capable of preventing or treating immune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, and metabolic diseases such as obesity, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, diabetic complications, irritable bowel syndrome, gastric ulcer, and gastritis, by comprising a rebamipide precursor or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient.
