A method for automatically selecting and changing a channel of a transmitter for a village broadcast according to the present invention comprises the steps of: transmitting a test signal to a representative receiver; receiving a reply signal from the representative receiver; determining whether or not communication of a corresponding channel is possible by using the reply signal; and selecting a channel in which communication is available as a communication channel, wherein the representative receiver, which has a worst channel environment, can select and change a channel of performing fast and accurate communication.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
