The present invention relates to a method of determining radiation exposure by using changes in the expression level of BTBD3 gene in a plant body of Tradescantia ohiensis Raf. In the present invention, it was found that the expression of BTBD3 gene significantly increases in a particular radiation level, and therefore, the present invention may be beneficially used as a genetic forecasting system in which Tradescantia ohiensis Raf. which responds sensitively to low level radiation, is used to monitor the influence of exposure to radiation on an organism by observing gene expression profiles and phenotypical changes of cells in real-time in order to diagnose radiation damage in advance, and observe damage restoration after the event.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
