The present invention provides a flux-cored wire for arc welding of a duplex stainless steel used for arc welding of a duplex stainless steel having excellent low temperature toughness and pitting resistance of a welding portion, and weld metal. The flux-cored wire for arc welding of the duplex stainless steel includes a stainless steel sheath filled with flux containing, with respect to a total mass of a wire, predetermined amounts of Cr, Ni, Mo, N, Mn, and Si. If a Ti conversion value of Ti alloy is expressed as [Ti] and an AI conversion value of Al alloy is expressed as [Al], [Ti] and [Al] are predetermined values; a value of parameter A is expressed as A = [Ti] + 2 x [Al] satisfying a predetermined value, and the rest composed of Fe, a slag-forming component, and incidental impurities.
