METHOD AND APARATUS OF ACTIVE QUEUE MANAGEMENT FOR WIRELESS NETWORKS USING SHARED WIRELESS CHANNEL

Provided are a dynamic queue management method in a wireless network sharing a wireless channel, and a communication node. The method comprises: maintaining state information of each flow of a corresponding node; estimating arrival time of each packet included in each flow based on flow information including the number of flows received from other nodes within a collision range and state information for each flow of the corresponding node; and determining packet dropping and scheduling to a queue based on the estimated arrival time. Therefore, a buffer bloat problem in a wireless mesh network can be solved.
