The present invention relates to a 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G (pre-5G) communication system to support a higher data rate after a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). A method for allowing a signal transmission apparatus to transmit a signal in a wireless communication system supporting a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) scheme, includes a process of transmitting a signal to a signal receiving apparatus, a process of detecting that a retransmission operation for the signal is required; and a process of performing a retransmission operation on the signal based on at least one of the interference characteristics of an interference signal and a reception scheme used by the signal receiving apparatus.
