An apparatus for generating a depth map of a 2D video according to the present invention comprises: an object extraction part extracting an object from each of image frames of a video; an object layer generation part layering each of the extracted objects with reference to a predetermined plane; and a layer object 3D transformation part arranging the layered object in a 3D space by using a normal vector and depth information of the plane.
