The present invention relates to a method for preparing mesenchymal stem cells having improved expression of cytokines or growth factors using poly-2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (Poly-HEMA). According to the present invention, stem cells can be differentiated without components besides living bodies so the method is useful for treating stem cells without side effects clinically.
