The present invention relates to a PLC system capable of multiple firmware downloading and a method for multiple firmware downloading of the PLC system using the same, which can transmit and update a firmware to another module through a backplane of a base by simply operating a mode setting switch of a CPU module or mounting the other module in a master slot. The firmware stored in the CPU module or another module is transmitted to the other same module through the backplane, the module can be updated without a debug device and a separate device such as a PC, so that the firmware can be simply updated. Also, the present invention can update multiple modules mounted on a slave slot by setting the mode setting switch to a firmware transmitting mode after mounting the CPU module on the master slot or just by mounting the other module on the master slot, so that a time for update can be significantly reduced.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
