The present invention relates to an apparatus for diagnosing a partial discharge, and more particularly, to an apparatus for diagnosing a partial discharge of a power cable in a live state for diagnosing whether or not the power cable in the live state is partially discharged. The apparatus for diagnosing a partial discharge of a power cable in a live state according to the present invention includes: a partial discharge sensor which is mounted on a surface of the power cable in the live state and generating a sensing signal by sensing the partial discharge of the power cable; a partial discharge detecting unit for receiving the sensing signal and generating partial discharge analysis data by analyzing the sensing signal with a frequency analysis mode, a pulse analysis mode, and a time difference analysis mode, respectively; and a mobile terminal which receives and displays the partial discharge analysis data by wirelessly communicating the partial discharge detecting unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
