The present invention relates to a window system having a crime prevention function and a safety function capable of preventing an insect screen from falling. The window system includes: a window frame fixed to a wall; a window unit installed in the window frame to slide and comprising an indoor window unit and an outdoor window unit, which include first and second vertical window sashes and first and second horizontal window sashes; and an insect screen unit installed on the outdoor side of the window frame to slide and including an insect screen and first and second vertical frames and first and second horizontal frames supporting the insect screen. The first vertical frame and/or the second vertical frame correspond/corresponds to the window frame while the insect screen unit is closed. A locking member expanded in the longitudinal direction and performing locking and unlocking functions by control of a handle is included in the first vertical frame and the second vertical frame. A first closing unit and a second closing unit are included in the second vertical frame and the second vertical window sash of the outdoor window unit to be individually expanded.
