METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DESIGNING CLASS CLASSIFIER USING BINARY CLASSIFIER

Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for designing a class classifier using a binary classifier. The disclosed apparatus comprises: an input unit for receiving a plurality of samples; a binary classifier design unit for designing a binary classifier to classify the inputted samples into two classes (class 0 and class 1), and sequentially connecting the designed binary classifiers in accordance with the imputed samples to output the same; and a determination unit for inputting samples classified as the class 0 into the binary classifier design unit when an error is included in the samples classified as the class 0 by the binary classifier, and inputting samples classified as the class 1 into the binary classifier design unit when an error is included in the samples classified as the class 1.
