The present invention relates to an underground type small and middle size nuclear power plant system with remarkably enhanced stability. According to the present invention, the system comprises: a structure installed under the ground and including an accommodation space; a reactor, a turbine, and an auxiliary building installed in the accommodation space; and an emergency water supply passage to connect the reactor and an external cooling water source. A water intake point of the emergency water supply passage is higher than that of the reactor.
