The present invention relates to an eco-friendly mat for the bottom of a salt field, which can produce high-quality bay salt enriched with ingredients effective for the human body and a method for construction thereof. The eco-friendly mat for the bottom of a salt field comprises a resin composition, loess, a pulverized shell product and pozzolan, and thus contains no environmental hormone-like materials. Therefore, no environmental hormone is introduced to seawater, mud flat and bay salt during the production of bay salt. In addition, no harmful gas is generated when the mat is discarded after the service life thereof. Further, the resin composition comprises cellulose aerogel instead of a phthalate compound harmful to the human body, thereby improving the adsorptivity to heavy metals, flexibility and durability of the eco-friendly mat for the bottom of a salt field. The eco-friendly mat for the bottom of a salt field comprises titanium dioxide so that microorganisms and organic materials which may be incorporated during the production of bay salt are decomposed. The resin composition comprises loess so that soil dust may not be incorporated to the bay salt. Thus, it is possible to carry out hygienic production of the bay salt.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
