Provided are a gas separation membrane using ladder-like polysilsesquioxane and a production method thereof. According to the present invention, it is possible to produce the gas separation membrane based on an organic functional group coupled to a siloxane chain and a long siloxane chain of the ladder-like polysilsesquioxane, thereby not requiring additional supports. With various combinations of the organic functional groups coupled to the siloxane chain, performance of the gas separation membrane can be regulated, and the molecular structure of the gas separation membrane can be regulated as well by curing using various methods such as mixing an amine compound along with the ladder-like polysilsesquioxane, thereby selectively controlling permeability and selectibility of the gas separation membrane.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
