Disclosed is an energy-saving cogeneration system which combusts wood to produce superheated steam, uses produced superheated steam to produce electricity, and then reuses heat energy of discharged superheated steam to dry wood. The energy-saving cogeneration system uses a drying process of wood to produce electricity, and comprises: a wood drying facility to dry the wood; a superheated steam generation device to combust the dried wood to produce superheated steam; a first steam turbine to use the superheated steam supplied from the superheated steam generation device to drive a first generator; a second steam turbine to use the superheated steam discharged from the first steam turbine to drive a second generator; a low pressure steam header disposed between the first and the second steam turbine to supply the superheated steam discharged from the first steam turbine to the second steam turbine in a state of low-pressure superheated steam; an air-cooled condenser to use external air flowing thereinto to condense superheated steam discharged from the second steam turbine; a preheater to supply external air which has absorbed heat energy of the superheated steam to the wood drying facility in a preheated state; and a regeneration heat supply pipe to supply external air which has absorbed transferred heat energy to the preheater when the heat energy of the superheated steam is transferred to the external air flowing thereinto by the air-cooled condenser. Accordingly, heat energy of steam discharged from the second steam turbine is used in a drying process of wood to reduce energy consumed during the drying process of the wood.
