The present invention relates to an automatic pruning machine for landscaping trees for a road border, automatically pruning the landscaping trees planted for a border separating a roadway and a sidewalk, or between the roadways. According to the present invention, the automatic pruning machine comprises: a base (10) performing driving; a horizontal cutter (20) horizontally installed in the base to prune the upper part of the landscaping trees; a rotator (30) installed in the base to normally and reversely rotate the horizontal cutter in horizontal and vertical directions; a vertical cutter (40) vertically installed in the base to prune the side part of the landscaping trees; a moving device (50) installed in the base to laterally move the vertical cutter; and an angle adjuster (60) installed in the base to adjust an inclination angle of the vertical cutter.
