Provided is an HDFS data encryption and decryption method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an encryption method includes: allowing an encryption method to call an encryption codec class if the encryption method is called by a user; allowing the encryption codec class to generate an output stream object; and performing encryption of the encryption engine glass.
