The present invention relates to a light emitting diode (LED) local area network (LAN) cable connector capable of realizing high rate data transmission. According to the present invention, an LED LAN cable connector capable of realizing the high rate data transmission installed in both end parts of a cable used for data communication with a rate of 100 Mbps or greater comprises: a main unit connected to an end part of the cable; a substrate unit installed in the main unit, having a power terminal to receive power from the outside, and having a condenser to receive and convert the power by receiving the power; and a light emitting unit installed in the substrate unit, receiving the power to emit light, and connected to a first and a second line to transfer the power to the first and the second line which are arbitrary two lines performing data transmission among a plurality of lines included in the cable, wherein the power includes a pulse signal. According to the present invention, when external power is applied to a LAN cable connector in which an LED is installed, it is effectively prevented that a data rate is lowered and the data transmission is blocked.
