According to the present invention, disclosed is an automatic roasting apparatus for skewered barbecue providing smoke prevention and easy skewer replacement, capable of visually checking a cooking state of meat skewered in a skewer part. To this end, the apparatus comprises: a main body part having a driving part rotating the skewer part in one side space of the inside, and formed in a closed type generating fire with charcoal placed in the inner bottom and preventing smoke generated from the inside from being discharged outside; a grill part installed in the top of the main body unit, keeping warmth and heating food with the fire inside the main body unit while being selectively opened/closed in both directions with respect to the center, having a pair of transparent glass parts symmetrically installed on both sides with respect to the center to check a state of skewered food placed inside the main body unit, and having a discharge hole capable of discharging the smoke generated from the main body part to the outside in the center; and a height adjustment part with a predetermined height selectively combined between the grill part and the main body part to adjust a height of the grill part from the main body part, and having a pair of locking grooves to lock and support the skewer. In one position outside the height adjustment part in which the locking grooves are placed, a restoration part having an elastic means inside and a skewer reception frame capable of being laterally moved when the skewer is longitudinally slid along the locking groove are connected to the elastic means.
