The present invention relates to a system and method for searching for a communication terminal based on a data distributed service. The system for searching for a communication terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a search information collection unit which collects first search information for a first domain network over which a plurality of communication terminals including a first communication terminal is connected, and which collects second search information for the first domain network after a lapse of a preset time from the collection of the first search information; and a communication terminal search unit which detects a second communication terminal that has newly joined or has left the first domain network by comparing the first search information with the second search information, which searches for the first communication terminal having the same topic information as topic information of the second communication terminal, and which sends information about the second communication terminal to the first communication terminal.
