The present invention relates to a porosity measurement method using an electron microscope image of a rock sample reacted with a gadolinium compound. The porosity measurement method according to the present invention includes: (a) a step in which a first image is captured by performing electron microscope imaging a rock sample to be subjected to porosity measurement; (b) a step in which a first area of a part of the first image that is regarded as a heavy mineral is grasped; (c) a step in which the rock sample is dipped in an aqueous solution in which a gadolinium compound is dissolved and the aqueous solution is allowed to flow into and be deposited in pores in the rock sample; (d) a step in which a second image is captured by performing electron microscope imaging the rock sample after the deposition of the gadolinium compound; and (e) a step in which a second area of a part of the second image that is regarded as a heavy mineral and pores is grasped and then a pore area of the rock sample is grasped by subtracting the first area from the second area.
