OsNFY27 promoter specific for plant seed endosperm or aleurone layer and uses thereof

The present invention relates to an Oryza sativa nuclear factor Y27 (OsNFY27) promoter specific to an endosperm or an aleurone layer of plant seeds, and a method for specifically expressing exotic genes in an endosperm or an aleurone layer of transformed plants. The exotic genes can be specifically expressed in an endosperm or an aleurone layer of plant seeds by using the OsNFY27 promoter. Accordingly, the OsNFY27 promoter can be used for analyzing objective gene functions in mature seeds, thereby being used for developing functional seeds therethrough.
