The present invention relates to a method for precision testing and mass conversion for exhaust gas of an in-use vehicle in view of model year suitability by which pollutants contained in the exhaust gas of the in-use vehicle can be analyzed by the use of an in-use vehicle exhaust gas measuring apparatus including an exhaust gas analyzer and, more particularly, to an in-use vehicle exhaust gas pollutant analysis method using an in-use vehicle exhaust gas measuring apparatus including an exhaust gas analyzer that is a method for precision testing and mass conversion for exhaust gas of an in-use vehicle in view of model year suitability including: a step in which the exhaust gas analyzer measures the concentrations of the pollutants made up of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon, and nitrogen oxide and contained in the exhaust gas of the in-use vehicle in an acceleration simulation mode in which the in-use vehicle has a vehicle speed of 40 km per hour; a step in which an exhaust gas test year of the in-use vehicle and the manufacturing year of the in-use vehicle are input to the exhaust gas analyzer through input means of the in-use vehicle exhaust gas measuring apparatus; a step in which the exhaust gas analyzer determines the testing target suitability of the in-use vehicle by using the in-use vehicle test year and the in-use vehicle manufacturing year; a step in which mass correction factors allocated for the respective pollutants are obtained from a database in which the mass correction factors for conversion of pollutant concentration to mass are stored in advance; and a step in which a pollutant discharge amount is calculated from the pollutant concentration on a mass per in-use vehicle moving distance (g/km) basis.
