A portable quadrupole ion trap mass analyzer is disclosed. The disclosed portable quadrupole ion trap mass spectrometer includes an ion trap for trapping ions generated by ionizing an internal gas from an electron emission source and an ion detector for detecting the amount of ions emitted from the ion trap. The ion trap has one ring electrode and a pair of end cap electrodes. One end cap electrode through which electrons are introduced has an aperture formed at the center, and an electron amplifier is disposed at the aperture to reduce the amount of electrons from the electron emission source. Therefore, it is possible to manufacture a compact mass analyzer having small current consumption;
