An apparatus and method for providing psychological state information of a user reflected in articles are disclosed. The information providing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention analyzes the distribution of the words projected in the word graph by organizing the articles written by the user in units of time and projecting the words included in the text into the word graph classified by category A control unit for determining the psychological state of the user reflected in the text, and an output unit for providing the user's psychological state determination result in association with the text creation time information.
