A femto base station resource control method and apparatus for controlling macro terminal protection and interference between femto base stations is disclosed. A gateway of a femto base station or a femto base station can allocate a resource block of a femtocell based on a silencing resource block for protecting a macro terminal. Also, the femto base station or the femto base station gateway can allocate the femtocell resource block in consideration of the relative positions of the macro base station and the femto base station and the damaged macro terminal. The gateway of the femto base station or the femto base station can allocate the resource block of the femto cell in consideration of the resource block used by the neighbor femto base station.
