An optical arbitrary waveform signal generating apparatus and a waveform signal generating method are disclosed. One embodiment outputs an optical frequency comb signal, distributes the optical signal, and injects the split optical signal into a plurality of slave lasers using an optical circulator. One embodiment may implement a light injection lock based on the optical output / frequency of the slave laser for the injected optical frequency comb signal. One embodiment employs physical phenomena to perform frequency filtering and amplitude and phase modulation. The light injection locking signal output from each of the plurality of slave lasers is combined, and an optical arbitrary waveform is generated based on the combination.
