Manufacturing Devices for Plastic Corner Protectors and the Method of Making the Plastic Corner Protectors Using the Same

The present invention relates to a mold for forming plastic corner protectors, and a device and a method for manufacturing plastic corner protectors using the same, and more specifically, to a mold for forming plastic corner protectors, and a device and a method for manufacturing plastic corner protectors using the same, in which, by using a star-shaped roller mold, the manufacturing process is greatly simplified, thus facilitating mass-production. The mold for forming plastic corner protectors is characterized in that a roller which has a three-dimensional structure in the shape of a hexagram column and a decelerator and a connection unit are added to a regular mold for corner protectors. The method for manufacturing plastic corner protectors comprises the steps of: introducing a material in a material feeding hole of a melt extruder; forming a melted sheet through a T-die with adjustable thickness and width; passing a roller having a three-dimensional structure in the shape of a hexagram column through the melted sheet to form multiple corner protector connection prototypes; and cutting the formed corner protector connection prototypes. According to the present invention, by using the star-shaped mold, the present invention can manufacture a large quantity of plastic corner protectors in a relatively short period of time compared to conventional manufacturing devices, thereby drastically improving production efficiency.
