The present invention relates to a method of analyzing a sedimentation phase of a coalbed methane gas reservoir. In the present invention, the development target area is divided into a plurality of areas based on a similarity of a deposition environment, proximity of a contour line, and a distance adjacent with an industrial analysis borehole such that the sedimentation phase is separately analyzed for each area. In addition, the present invention overcomes a conventional classification of sedimentation by dichotomy, and forms a basis for more finely estimating a content of coal or gas by subdividing the sedimentation phase into at least three or more. More specifically, the present invention corrects a difference between an industrial analysis data and a physical log data, and accurately determines a reference density and an amount of aggregation in determining the sedimentation phase.
