In the present invention, disclosed are a system and a method for analyzing a protective coordinating simulator of a superconductor power cable, which model a simulation system, a type, a fault type, etc., of the superconductor power cable, obtain dynamic characteristics of a cable by applying current, voltage across the cable, temperature changes, etc. to the modeling, and simulate a protective cooperation therefor. The disclosed system for analyzing a protective coordinating simulator of a superconductor power cable comprises: a power system computer-aided design (RSCAD) real-time digital simulator (RTDS) modeling system for modeling a simulation system, a circuit type and a fault type for a superconductor power cable on the basis of a mathematic model; a field programmable gate array (EPGA) embedded system for applying current for fault measurement or voltage across the cable and temperature changes to the modeling of the superconductor power cable; and a simulation system for simulating dynamic characteristics of the superconductor power cable in accordance with the current for fault measurement or voltage across the cable and temperature changes applied to the modeling of the superconductor power cable in real time, or simulating the same on a non-real time basis by receiving a parameter of a power system with respect to the superconductor power cable, and outputting a protective cooperating method by analyzing a result of each simulation. According to the present invention, a fault and the like of the superconductor power cable can be simulated.
