The present invention relates to a master switcher apparatus for processing a broadcast signal including a UHD 4K loudness signal. More specifically, the present invention relates to the master switcher apparatus for processing a broadcast signal including a 12G UHD 4K based UHD 4K loudness signal. The master switcher for processing broadcast signals receives UHD 4K 12G-SDI and 3G-SDI signals simultaneously and sets the audio stream of the input signal into at least one group regardless of an input signal format type such as 12G-SDI or 3G-SDI. The master switcher analyzes the loudness in the signal and displays a loudness level meter on the other side of a picture screen in a display panel so that abnormalities of loudness can be checked. In addition, the master switcher analyzes audio and video signals and provides the same to external terminals through out ports.
