According to a method for generating a fuel using a ligneous biomass according to the present invention, activate carbon which is a filler of a filter used in a refining step is pretreated, and a ligneous biomass raw ingredient is supplied to an inner chamber of a material chamber, and is incompletely combusted. Thus, a combustible gas is generated and refined, and a high purity combustible gas is produced. Installed are: a first filter panel for preventing hydraulic pressure reduction in a first filtering step; a first front cross-section penetration filter; a feedback branch pipe assembly for preventing a pressure focusing phenomenon caused in a filter unit connection pipe; a plurality of filter sheets for effective refinement in a second filtering step; a propeller-shaped filter; and a third filter for additional refinement. According to the method of the present invention, a metal oxide impregnated activated carbon obtained through pretreatment of activated carbon is filled in a filter in a sieve body, so an adsorbing function is improved and refining efficiency is improved. Thus, purity of a combustible gas can be improved compared to a conventional gas generation device. Pressure focused in a pipe is distributed through a feedback branch pipe assembly installed in a pipe unit, such that pressure is prevented from being focused in a specific pipe unit. Therefore, long lifespan of the pipe and the filter can be ensured, and stability of the device can be improved. In addition, a combustible gas can be expected to flow and be recovered through the propeller-shaped filter installed in the second filter unit.
